Definition of Ad Space: Front page is the main page of the site. First layer page is one of the six main tab pages off of the front page.  Second layer page is a page linked from one of the main tab pages.  Third layer page or below is any other page.  Banner runs across the top of the page. Side pillar runs along the right side of the page and can be divided into four different ads of specified sizes.  Product placement are features for specified product and can occur anywhere negotiated prior.  Official site sponsor is an annual arrangement for businesses wishing to have an ongoing, concerted advertising partnership.  Other opportunities are defined on a circumstance by circumstance basis prior, between said advertiser and Lambda 10 Project.

Payment in Advance: Payments in advance will be required for 1.) infrequent ads placed on a singe insertion basis; 2.) new accounts where credits has not been established; 3.) any ads placed by an account with balances that have defaulted in the payment of incurred fees; and 4) any ads placed by an account whose credit has been impaired in the judgment of Lambda 10 Project.

Accounts Payable: Payments are to be made by check or money order payable to Lambda 10 Project c/o: Shane L. Windmeyer.  Payments are due upon receipt of invoice and no later than the 15th of the month.  A late fee of 5% per month will be charged to all accounts with balances delinquent for more than 30 days.

Returned Checks: There will be a $50 fee assessed to your account with Lambda 10 Project for all returned checks.  Any amount paid to cover a returned check must include this fee.  Payments made which do not include the returned check fee will be applied to any outstanding account balance.

Legal Fees: Any and all legal fees will be the responsibility of the advertiser if Lambda 10 Project must take legal action to collect accounts receivable.

Space Reservation: Advertising space must be reserved one month prior and available for purchase.  Spaces are always subject to availability. 

Art Deadline: The art deadline is always the third Friday of the month preceding the month of publishing the ad online. If the copy is not in by this time, then Lambda 10 Project may insert a generic ad for specified time until the advertiser makes other arrangements with Lambda 10 Project. All art should be submitted to ATTN: Shane Windmeyer, L10 Advertising at info@lambda10.org.

Liability:  Advertisements are published online with the understanding that the advertisers are fully authorized to publish submitted copy; having secured any written consent for all copy, text, photos and illustrations, and that no ad submitted is in violation of a patent, copyright, first right of publication or a right to privacy.  The advertiser assumes all liability for claims based on the subject matter of its ad, and agrees to hold Lambda 10 Project and any of its associated staff harmless for any such claim.  Lambda 10 Project assumes no financial responsibility for typographical errors or omissions beyond the advertiser partial credit for additional advertising space.  

Additional Fees: Copy changes, consultation fees or design charges may be incurred by advertisers whose ads require an excessive amount of consultation, design and production time for the completion of advertisement. $50 additional charge for specific page requests. 

Standards: Lambda 10 Project reserves the right to reject any advertisement that it may consider to be objectionable in character, wording, appearance or one which it may consider inconsistent with the format and audience.
